
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp rapid-rise yeast
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup lukewarm soy milk
- 1 package vegan hot dogs
- 1 block vegan cheese
- Coating of your choice (frozen diced potatoes, granulated sugar or crushed hot Cheetos)
Special equipment:
- corn dog sticks or skewers
- deep-fryer (optional, but recommended)
Directions:
- Mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and soy milk together
- Let mixture sit for 30 minutes
- Cut a vegan corn dog in half
- Cut out an equal-sized piece of vegan cheese
- Skewer them together
- Roll in the batter until completely coated
- If you want a potato dog, roll the corn dog in a bowl of frozen diced potatoes
- Deep fry until golden brown
- You may dust the corn dog with granulated sugar or crushed hot Cheetos
- Serve hot
