Episode 141: Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 20 ripe peaches
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegan butter, melted

Directions:

  • Dunk the peaches in boiling water for 10 seconds
  • Transfer the peaches to a large bowl filled with ice water
  • Peel the peaches
  • Chop the peaches and place in a baking dish
  • Add the cinnamon and arrowroot powder
  • Mix well
  • Add the flour to a bowl
  • Add the baking powder, salt, sugar, and vegan butter
  • Mix well
  • Crumble the flour mixture over the peaches
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes
  • Allow to cool for 30 minutes before serving
