
Special equipment:
- Tea strainer
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Thai tea leaves
- 1 cup cane sugar
- 4 cups water
- Plant-based milk of choice (may substitute non-dairy creamer)
Directions:
- Add Thai tea leaves to a large pot
- Add cane sugar
- Add water
- Mix well then put the pot on a stove on high for 5 minutes or until tea begins to boil
- Boil the tea for 3 more minutes, stirring occasionally
- Allow the tea to cool down
- Strain out the tea leaves
- Get a glass and add ¼ glass of shaved ice
- Add 1/4 to 1/3 glass of Thai tea, depending on your taste
- Add about ½ glass of plant-based milk or non-dairy creamer
