Episode 150: Veggie Stir Fry Version 3

Ingredients:

  • 1 block SOFT tofu (NOTE: silken tofu will not work as well)
  • 2 cups of chopped vegetables of your choice
  • 1-2 tablespoons stir-fry sauce of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Cornstarch for dredging

Directions:

  • Cut tofu into small rectangular pieces
  • Put pot over medium heat
  • Add enough olive oil to evenly coat the bottom thinly
  • Dredge the tofu pieces in cornstarch
  • Optional: make sprinkle a little salt on tofu pieces
  • Immediately add tofu pieces to pot
  • Fry until both sides are golden brown
  • Set aside
  • Put a pan over medium heat with some olive oil
  • Add the vegetables and cook until they start to become tender
  • Add stir-fry sauce and water
  • Cook until vegetable evenly coated with sauce
  • Serve vegetables and tofu hot over a bed of rice
