
Ingredients:
- 1 block of firm tofu
- Bread crumbs
- Oregano
- Shredded cheese of your choice
- Marinara sauce of your choice
Directions:
- Cut tofu into 8 slices
- Pat tofu dry with a paper towel
- Allow tofu to air-dry for 30 minutes
- Sprinkle oregano on both sides of each tofu slice
- Dredge tofu in a bowl of bread crumbs
- Pan-fry tofu on a well-oiled skillet until golden brown on both sides
- Top with marinara and shredded cheese
- Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes to melt the cheese
- Serve hot
