We tried some BBQ jack fruit nachos at the farmers market at Riverside for $6.00. It had avocado, black beans, cooked jack fruit, BBQ sauce, and a little Sriracha sauce. It was very filling and would be a simple recipe to make at home.

Beyond Burger Mini-Review
We tried the new Beyond burger last week! It’s a vegetarian party that is soy free. It’s main ingredient is pea protein isolate. It also has beet juice and coconut oil listed in the ingredients.
We pan fried the burger on medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side. It has a very meaty texture and and even looks like a medium rare hamburger.
Overall, this was a tasty vegetarian burger. We got it at Whole Foods for $5.99 for two patties.
