Episode 91: Tofu Parmigiana

Ingredients:

  • 1 block of firm tofu
  • Bread crumbs
  • Oregano
  • Shredded cheese of your choice
  • Marinara sauce of your choice

Directions:

  • Cut tofu into 8 slices
  • Pat tofu dry with a paper towel
  • Allow tofu to air-dry for 30 minutes
  • Sprinkle oregano on both sides of each tofu slice
  • Dredge tofu in a bowl of bread crumbs
  • Pan-fry tofu on a well-oiled skillet until golden brown on both sides
  • Top with marinara and shredded cheese
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes to melt the cheese
  • Serve hot
