Episode 118: Black Bean Brownies

Special equipment:

  • Food processor

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of drained black beans
  • ¼ cup quick oats
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  • Add all ingredients except chocolate chips into food processor
  • Process until smooth
  • Add the chocolate chips
  • Mix well
  • Spoon the mixture into a silicon cupcake tray
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes
  • Allow to cool for 30 minutes before serving

  • 3 tablespoons of melted coconut oil
  • ¼ teaspoon of sea salt
  • ¼ cup of cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips

  • Mix flaxseed in water
  • Add all ingredients except chocolate chips into food processor

  • Add the chocolate chips
