Episode 101: Roasted Bell Pepper Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 3 bell peppers
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 & 1/2 cups oat milk
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 lemon

Directions:

  • Cut the bell peppers in half
  • Peel the garlic
  • Roast the bell peppers and garlic at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes
  • Put the bell peppers and garlic into a blender
  • Add oat milk
  • Blend until smooth
  • Pour the bell pepper mixture into a pot
  • Set on a stove over medium heat
  • Add nutritional yeast flakes and Italian seasoning
  • Mix well
  • Squeeze half a lemon into the sauce
  • Serve hot over pasta with your favorite style of vegetarian meatballs
