Episode 142: Apple Butter

Ingredients:

  • Lots of apples, sliced
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Brown sugar
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice

Special Equipment:

  • Instant pot or slow cooker

Directions:

  • Add the sliced apples to a crock pot
  • Sprinkle in a liberal amount of ground cinnamon
  • Add some brown sugar
  • Add a dash of salt
  • Add the juice of one lemon
  • Mix well
  • Slow cook for 12 hours
  • Refrigerate overnight
  • Serve on bread, waffles, English muffins, or any pastry
