Episode 19: Corn Soup

  • 1 large can vegetable broth
  • 1 can of creamed corn
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 tablespoonful mushroom seasoning
  • tapioca starch for thickening


  • Mix a tablespoonful of tapioca starch with two tablespoonfuls of cold water in a small bowl and set aside
  • Set a pot on a stove over medium heat
  • Pour in vegetable broth
  • Pour in creamed corn
  • Pour in whole kernel corn
  • Add mushroom seasoning
  • Stir well
  • Pour in tapioca starch mixture and stir some more
  • Let soup simmer for 5 minutes then serve
