Episode 01: Veggie Stir-Fry (version 01)

Ingredients:

**Stir-fry**

  • 1/4 cup of peanuts
  • 1 cup of potatoes
  • 1 cup of celery
  • 1 cup of carrots
  • 1 (10-ounce) can of Fri-Chik or 1 package firm tofu

**Teriyaki Sauce**

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions:

  • Mix cornstarch and water together
  • Add cornstarch mixture to soy sauce and mix well
  • Add sugar to soy sauce mixture and mix well
  • Chop up vegetables
  • Chop up Fri-Chik (tofu is definitely a healthier alternative)¬†into small one-inch chunks
  • Add olive oil to pan and stir-fry vegetables over medium-high heat
  • Add Fri-Chik¬†(tofu tastes better than Fri-Chik)
  • Add Teriyaki sauce
  • Serve hot over a bed of rice
